Chapter 3: Second day
this took longer than needed.
hope you enjoy the chapter
School had finished. Some of the students were leaving while some were staying, talking with each other, and a few would be looking at some of the other students.
I was walking away but before I could leave the premises I almost bumped into someone. I was able to move out of the way before hitting them.
"Oh sorr-" I stopped talking as I noticed that the person I almost bumped into was the science teacher Ms. Sirris.
She was carrying some boxes so she couldn't see the best.
"Oh, sorry. I didn't hurt you did I?" She asked.
"No you didn't miss."
"Well ain't that nice." she said before continuing walking.
"Do you need some help?" I asked. She looked at me for a bit before nodding.
"Yeah, that would be helpful."
Nodding, I grabbed some boxes off her as she looked at me before continuing walking. I followed her to a van before placing them in the back.
"Thank you for helping me." she said, smiling slightly. "Here for your troubles." she said as she dug through her pockets before taking out a pink thing that was shaped in a pill type of shape but bigger and made out of plastic.
She quickly put it away.
"That was not it, heheh." she laughed shyly before taking out some money and giving it to me. "If you ever need something then you can go to the run down building in elk street, alright." she said. I nodded.
She gave me a thumbs up before getting in the van and leaving.
Watching her leave, I start to leave for the bus stop.
As I was walking I counted the amount of money I was given. It was 15 dollars.
Reaching the stop, I sat down and waited for the bus to come.
------
I had gotten off the bus and reached the orphanage.
Getting inside, I could see some of the other kids talking with each other. I walked past them as I went to the backyard.
In the backyard, I could see that no one was there so I walked over to the flowers I planted and watered them.
After watering them, I sit down on the grass as I watch the clouds pass by.
*enter sound of someone walking on grass*
"Hey, how are you?" someone said behind me.
Looking behind me, I saw a girl, around the same age as me, with black hair that went up in a ponytail and blue eyes that seemed similar to the ocean. They wore a brown shirt and blue pants with ornaments similar to a flower on her head. Her clothing was not tight but her figure could be seen as they were slightly above average.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"My name is Robin and I am an orphan as well. Nice to meet you!" she said while smiling.
"Huh, nice to meet you as well." I said before going back to looking at the clouds.
I could see some birds flying by and the sound of leaves rustling. It was a nice thing to hear.
"Soooo, are you not going to say your name?" said Robin.
"I don't see a point to, and plus I barely know you." I said. She seemed confused about it so I continued. "I only really tell my name to someone when I like them, it is important or I feel as if they deserve it."
"Ohhh, okay :)." she said. She then sat down next to me and looked up at the sky.
"..." I glanced at her wondering why she did that but I just decided to ignore it and continue watching the clouds.
We stayed like that for a while, watching the clouds beside each other.
It felt as if time flew by as an hour had passed before I finally stood up.
"Hmm, where are you going?" Robin asked, turning to me.
"I am going to walk around the town." I said. She looked at me for a bit before nodding.
"Okay. Oh and don't forget that, you can come and hang out with me in my room! It's the one beside yours!" she said.
I nodded before leaving the backyard.
--------
I had been walking for 30 minutes or so. I was near the beach currently. Leaning against a handrail as I watched the ocean and the people that were playing volleyball.
In the distance I could see a building. Deliberating, I decided to go over to it and see what it is about.
Walking over, I could see the building and a woman in the front of it putting up a poster.
"Hey, what is this building?" I said to the women once I was close.
Turning towards me quickly, the woman seemed confused by me.
"Oh, it's a chalet or a building that is used as a seasonal farm for cows." she said before sighing. "Or at least that would be it if not for the amount of trash that is piled up."
She then pointed to the poster that was hung up. "That is why I am trying to get people that would help with the trash." she then turned to me. "You wouldn't mind helping right?"
I looked at her before looking at the poster.
Said the poster.
"Sure." I said to her.
She smiled. "Alright then, you'll start tomorrow." she said before walking inside the building.
I stood there for a second before sighing and walking away from the building.
Walking to the bus stop, I waited for the bus to get here and then got on once it got here.
Once I had gotten to the orphanage, I quickly went to take a bath before going to sleep.
----------
It was the next day and I had gotten up rather early, around 4:35.
I finished getting ready and went outside to check on my flowers but noticed how it was raining.
'This is going to be annoying to get to school.' I thought, sighing.
I moved over to the living room, sat down on the sofa and watched some videos on my phone while having some earphones in.
It was a change of pace that I didn't know that I needed as I relaxed my body from the tenseness that I was storing in my body.
No one was awake so I had time for myself after all the time I have been here. Walking and having to be near people always didn't feel right. The things that I needed to do during this time had made me uncomfortable. People were always something I didn't like to be near them unless I had no choice or if they were someone I trusted. The people here were always looking at something, their stares were something that I hated.
Sighing, I shake my head to stop these trains of thoughts before looking out of the window and put some music on as I watch the rain.
The pitter and patter of the rain as it hit the ground created a symphony of nature for only those that watched and listened. The creation of something beautiful that might not be found unless they are looked at and cared for.
It was calming.
[-trauma, ---stress, -fatigue, the gray world seems to brighten slightly]
----
Walking over to the park, I could see that no one was here because of the rain which was understandable. I had put on a jacket before leaving the orphanage.
Seeing that no one was here, I hung my book-bag on a branch of a tree that was good at blocking most of the rain and walked over to the path of the park.
Getting ready, I stretched and got in position before running.
[+fatigue, -stress, +athletics] X2
An hour had passed, it was now 6:15, and the rain was still going. Moving over to the tree with my book-bag, I leaned against it, resting from running almost the entire time. The feeling of my heart pounding against my chest was noticeable.
Once I was able to catch my breath, I got off the tree and walked over to a more open area before putting up my fist into a boxing stance that I remember seeing before throwing punches.
I was never trained in fighting, I haven't learned any form of martial arts from someone but I was able to still use some of the techniques that I had seen from the internet. While I wasn't able to use them that well I was still able to use it to some extent which was better than none.
I quickly threw a punch but noticed how it felt incorrect so I tried to correct it.
I don't know how long it passed until I felt as if it was correct.
It was something that I didn't like but I always tried to fix something that I didn't like, it was something that I did by trance instead of thought.
Stopping, I checked the time and noticed how it was now 6:43 so walking over to the tree, I grabbed my book-bag and started walking over to the school.
It didn't take long for me to reach it.
The school gate was open but there was a person who was standing in front of it not allowing the other students, who were here this early, to go inside.
'Well aren't they punctual.' I thought. School technically started in a couple of minutes but they still didn't allow us to go in.
I leaned against the fence of the school while I waited for them to allow us in. Looking around, the other students were using umbrellas to protect themselves from the rain. It was different from me as none of them seemed to be using a jacket or any other thing that could be used as protection from the rain.
I then heard the sound of someone running in the rain.
Turning to the direction of the noise, I could see that the person running was Sydney. She wasn't wearing any jacket or had an umbrella which allowed for the rain to hit her directly, her clothes was being wet causing it to become somewhat see thru and stuck to her chest which was enough to be able to see her bra and above average breast.
She stopped running as soon as she reached the school gates before also leaning against the fence. She was catching her breath and let the rain hit against her.
The view that was given was rather erotic as some of her hair strands stuck against her skin while she was breathing out in quick and heavy breaths. The uniform of the school stuck to her chest allowing us to see it and the view of her chest moving up and down all blended into a erotic picture.
Sighing, I walked over to her.
She looked up, noticing me, and waved.
"Huuf, hello." she said while breathing out.
"Hello." I replied.
I took off my jacket and handed it over to her.
She looked between me and my jacket for a few seconds before registering the action I had done.
"Eh." She looked at me. "Uhhh, you don't need to do such a thing." she said as she waved her hand.
"Go ahead, take it." I said, pushing the jacket to her.
"No, no, it's fine, I don't need it." she said as she pushed it back to me. "I don't want to trouble you."
I shaked my head. "It's fine." I said while just putting it on top of her. She tried to take it off but I quickly stopped her from doing so. "Think of it as a favor." I said while I pointed to her clothes.
She looked at her clothes before looking back at me and shyly nodded with a blush on her face. "Alright….." she said quietly but loud enough for me to hear it. "But wont you get sick or something. I don't want to trouble you."
"Like I said, it's fine. I can deal with it." I said while sighing. "You can just give it back once we get inside, alright."
"Fine…" she said. I nodded before I leaned against the fence beside her.
[+love, Sydney feels grateful for your action.]
[+stress, the rain makes your clothes wet and somewhat see through, +lewdness]
I didn't mind the fact that my clothes were wet, in fact it felt rather nice, but the glances I was getting from the other kids that were here were rather annoying.
I turned to the kids that were looking at me and gave a signal for them to stop or I would do something. Most of them stopped but there were a few that continued looking.
I just sighed, they probably thought I wouldn't do something, and in honesty they were mostly correct.
I looked at the view that was given while waiting for us to be allowed in.
------
Entering the building, I walked to the library with Sydney. A few other students also were going to the library but weren't going there to read most likely.
In the library, I was with Sydney at the desk.
"You can hand over the jacket now." I said. She nodded before handing it to me while she slightly blushed.
"Umm, can I ask something…..?" Sydney asked. I looked over to her before nodding.
"Why did you give me your jacket….?"
I sighed. "Huuu, I just didn't like that you were showing so much of your body, on accident, which was something I just don't like."
"Oh…" she blushed slightly.
I nodded before going back to reading the book I found.
"Thank you…"
"No problem."
[+love, she feels grateful]
I stayed with Sydney at the desk, reading a book, as she did the things she needed to do.
It was easy to tell that she was someone that wanted to work hard on the things she does but that only made me wonder something.
'Why does she work so hard.' I thought while looking at her secretly as she did her job.
I stayed with her until I needed to go to my class.
-------
Sitting at my desk, I was on my phone reading some books online. Ms. Sirris was on her computer, probably working on something. She was focused on her job, working in a calm and patient way but was still quick.
The classroom was still almost full now as it was almost time for classes to begin, it was 8:54, and the sound of students talking to each other could be heard. It was a wonder how Ms.Sirris is able to work with all the noise but it was something that I could think about later.
Looking around the place would show that I didn't know any of the students here and most of the gazes that looked at me seemed to look at me with a gaze that shouted out loud on how they see me as odd while the rest of the gazes were ones that were perverted.
The students didn't approach me at all, as if I would get them sick or something, and while they didn't do anything directly, their actions on how they didn't want to greet me at all was something odd as people would almost instinctively answer back when they here a greeting that might have been for them. It's one of the reasons for why we almost always answer someone that we think is greeting us even if we didn't know them unless you are consciously trying to not answer someone and even then you might still greet them.
It was odd.
~rriiinnnggg~
The sound of the bell took me out of my thoughts. Putting away my phone, I looked at the teacher as she stood up and passed out some papers.
Once I had gotten the paper, I looked at it to see what it was but the sound of the teacher's voice caught my attention.
"Everyone please pay attention. This paper is about the science fair that our school will hold for its students so please read it if you wish to join it. I'll let y'all read it for 5 minutes." Ms.Sirris said.
The paper was talking about how it would be held in 25 days from now and the specifics of the things that will be done and what is allowed and the rules.
I mostly skimmed it for the important parts and waited for the class to continue.
Once the time was up, the teacher stood back and started to teach the class.
-------
It didn't take long for the class to end so getting up, I left the class.
The students in the hallway were not being subtle with their gazes that they were giving me. They stare with an odd gaze.
Ignoring the stare's that they were giving me, I continued to walk to my next class.
Walking inside the classroom, I could see the teacher, Ms.River, working on a piece of paper with focus.
I sat down on my desk and waited for the class to begin which didn't take long. For some reason class ends with only 3 minutes to reach your next class, it took me 2 minutes to reach the class.
~riingg~
The bell rang, starting class.
Ms.River, getting up, walked over to the front of the class and began teaching. The things that she was teaching would be around the 7th or maybe even early 8th grade subject. It was odd to be learning such things in high school but what can I do about it? For me it just means that I can have a good grade and be lazy soooo yeah.
"Hello everyone, I hope you had a good night but lets begin with a partner worksheet. Please group up with one person." The teacher said.
Sighing, I looked around before finding Amy who was also looking around. Getting up I started to walk over to her but someone got to her first.
"Hello, can we work together?" the person asked. Amy looked at her before slowly nodding.
"Well I hope we can work together well. My name is Lindly, nice to meet you." Lindly said while smiling.
Lindly was a girl with an average body, height, boobs, and all, and she had dark-brown hair and light brown eyes. She wore the same school clothes but used some make-up that popped out. While her body was average her face, on the other hand, was extremely beautiful, it would be easy to get lost in her looks and the make-up that she wore made the beauty pop out more.
Sighing, I looked away and looked around for someone else that I could work with. My eyes landed on a male that was sitting by himself and walking to him another person got to him as well.
Sighing again, I looked for someone else, I saw that there was no one else that was by themselves.
Sighing, I walked over to Ms.River who was working on a piece of paper.
"Ms.River, I have no one to work with." I said to her.
She looked up to me before looking around and sighed. "Alright, you can work by yourself."
Nodding, I went back to my desk and started doing my work ignoring the quiet laughs that were coming from the students.
It didn't take long for me to finish the worksheet as it only had 15 questions that were simple and easy.
I turned it in to the teacher. She looked at me with eyes that were slightly wide. She grabbed the worksheet before looking at the answers that I had given.
"You got them all right…" she said softly after looking at the paper with a glance.
'How the hell did she…' I thought. She just glanced at the paper but was still able to figure out if I had put the right answers or not almost instantly. Her ability to process information was outstanding.
"Great job for being able to get the right answers in such a quick amount of time." she said.
I nodded before walking back to my desk ignoring the stare's from some of the students.
I rested my head while waiting for the others to finish.
[+status, +stress, increase chance of being harassed]
--------
I had waited for a bit for the other students to finish and once they did the teacher started to teach using the problems that were gotten wrong by most of the students.
"-so for number 13, you can see we are trying to find what X is." She was teaching. "We have 5 ft by itself and 9x-58 feet." she continued before looking around. "Does anyone want to try to figure this out?" she asked.
Some of the students raised their hands but she didn't choose any of them as her eyes landed on me.
'Fuck.'
"How about you come up and figure this out." she said while calling me out.
Getting up, I walked over to the board before writing down the answer and the work.
"So if 5 is equal to 9x-58 because of being a square-" I started explaining out loud while writing down the equation. "-then we can take 58 over to 5 and change it to add-"
"But why?" asked one of the students. The teacher was about to speak before I cut her off.
"If 5 is equal to 9x-58 then the opposite should be true meaning that 5+58 would be equal to 9x and 58 would be added to 5 because it is the equation in reverse. Do you understand?" I said. The kid nodded slowly.
"Alright. So to continue, we add 5 and 58 to make 63 causing the equation to become 63=9x and we need to get rid of the 9 from the x." I said before looking around. "Does anyone know how to?"
A kid raised her hand.
"You, how do you do it?" I said when pointing to her.
"You….." she thought for a second before answering. "...You take the 9 over and divide 63 with it."
"Correct, good job." I said to her, she nodded with a slight blush. "Now that we took the 9 over we divide the 63 with it creating 7-"
"Causing the equation to become 7=x." A student cut me off but I just nodded.
"And that is the answer." I finished. Some of the students clapped their hands softly while the teacher gave me nodded and a thumbs up.
I nodded before walking back to my desk and continued to laze around.
[+status, +stress, -trauma, a increase chance of being harassed]
------
The rest of the day, class didn't have anything else that was interesting to do so once school had finished, I quickly went to leave the school but at the gate, I could see Sydney standing in the rain at the front with an umbrella.
She looked around before noticing me and waving at me to come closer.
"Hey, how has your day been?" she asked.
"It's been fine. What about you?"
"It's good buuut I want to ask something?"
"Hm, what is it?" I asked
"Do you…want to walk together?" she asked with a slight blush on her face.
I looked at her for a bit, thinking about it, before I answered.
"Sorry but no." I said.
"Oh, okay that's fine." she said, smiling slightly.
I nodded before I walked away.
I continued to walk after I left the school grounds until I reached the park. No one was here so taking out my phone, I took a picture of the place as I wanted to use it later for drawing.
I walked over to a statue and noticed how it had a white lichen on it and seeing how no one was around, I put down my book bag and quickly climbed up the statue and grabbed the lichen. While I was getting down, I heard the voice of a woman calling me out.
"Hey! Do you need help getting down or…?" she asked.
"I'm good but thanks for asking!" I said.
"Alright but be careful!" she said. I nodded.
Getting down, I looked to the person who had called me out.
It was a woman with a business suit and pants which hugged her body. It caused her breast to be easily visible from how it was hugged and emphasized her already rather big breast and good curves. She had black hair that reached her mid back and red eyes that were of a similar color to rubies with a face that showed mature and young beauty despite being old enough to be my mother. She also had an umbrella to cover herself from the rain.
"Sooo who are you?" I asked.
"My name is Avery. It is nice to meet you." Avery said and put her hand out for a hand shake.
Looking at her, I accepted her handshake. "It is nice to meet you too." I replied before pulling away and wiped my hands with my shirt.
She looked at my hand for a bit before looking back up. "Soo~ why did you climb the statue?" she asked, looking at me with curiosity.
"I needed this-" showing her the lichen. "-for a school project." I said.
"Oh, okay." she said while holding her eyes on me for a bit before looking around the place.
"Seeing how you are in the rain, how about I get you something to drink." she said.
"Sorry but no, I already have some other things I need to do." I said. She sighed before nodding.
"That's fine, if that is all then I get going now." she waved to me while walking away. "See ya."
Watching her walk away, I turned around and started walking to the chalet to see if I can work currently.
-----
At the chalets I could see the boss lady there again despite it raining.
"Hello miss." I said to her.
She turned around, noticed me and waved her hand. "Sup, are you here to work?" she asked.
"Yeah I am. Would that be fine?" I asked.
"Sure." she said before walking inside and held the door open for me to follow.
Inside, I could tell why she wanted help with cleaning this place as trash could be seen in just about every corner of the place.
"Go ahead and work as much as you want, just make sure to take out the bags after you're done, alright?" she said, I nodded. "Alright then I'll get going. Good luck." she said before leaving the place.
'I thought you were ... .never mind' I thought before sighing.
I looked around the place before spotting the custodian closet. Walking over, I opened it to see the things I needed to clean the place up.
'She didn't tell me about this, what if I didn't....people.' I thought.
Grabbing the broom, I started with cleaning up the things that were easier to clean first. Using the broom, I broomed the floor, grouping up the bigger thing that could be easily broomed and weren't piled up on each other.
Using a dustpan, I picked it up and put it into one of the trash bags that I found. It didn't take long for me to fill up a bag and there was still more than enough for me to fill up multiple bags.
"Huuu, well I chose to do this, got to finish what I started." I said to myself before continuing to clean up.
Cleaning up the place had caused the time to fly as when I had checked the time, I could see that 2 hours had already passed. It was now 18:47. The trash was many and the progress few.
'It is probably time to leave.' I thought as I grabbed 2 trash bags in each hand while taking it to the area to dump it.
It took me 5 minutes to reach the place and 3 to get back and grab more.
'This is going to be tedious, fuuucccckkk.' I groaned.
I continued to do this until I got the rest of the trash bags out.
"God, that took longer than probably needed." I said before walking over to where I had seen the boss walk to.
I reached a door before knocking on it.
"Come in." the voice of the boss lady said, muffled.
Walking in, I could see the boss sitting with her feet on her desk in a relaxed manner as she watched me.
"Sooooo?" she trailed off, motioning for me to report.
"I am done for today." I said before continuing. "I was able to get 17 bags full of trash and dump them in the designated zone."
She looked at me weirdly before nodding and opening a drawer and taking out some money.
"10..20…40…100…." she counted before handing me some from the stack she had taken out. "Here, that should be 170 dollars. Have a good day" she said waving me out.
I looked at her for a bit before nodding and leaving the place after taking the money that she had given me.
'This is enough for a bit.' I thought. 'That should be enough for Miss Bailey.'
I walked over to a bus stop that was nearby and waited until the bus got here, getting on.
"Where to?" the bus driver asked.
"To the orphanage." I said while putting a dollar into the money deposit. They nodded.
It didn't take long for me to get to the orphanage.
Walking inside, I went to my room and got some clothes ready before going and taking a bath.
Getting out, I put on the clothes I use to sleep before going back to my room.
In my room, I take out another set of school clothes before getting into my bed and resting.
