A rare magical miracle in the world
Chapter 459: All things and I return to one (seeking monthly tickets)
"This power!"
"What are you?"
This dragon claw was not tangible, it was like the universe itself, resembling both chaos and order, truth and magic—the very embodiment of indefinable and immeasurable entities, with no concept of size or strength, but one overwhelming sensation—that it was an enemy not to be conquered.
Sazzag could only manifest in this world by possessing Harls, but now he was being held in the grasp of the Dragon of Miracles, his body disintegrating, both his and Harls'.
"Another one popping up unexpectedly?"
Even in adversity, Sazzag talked to himself, saying confidently, "You weren't around before, Second Witch? Yet, you seem to lack what others possess, how strange."
"Roar!!"
The roar of the Dragon of Miracles echoed through the void, it was furious, and within that anger, Bailuo could also sense her fear.
It was not a fear for herself but concern and guilt.
Like a parent whose child had nearly been abducted by a kidnapper, that feeling of almost being too late—this was the terror Bailuo felt emanating from the Dragon of Miracles.
The coming of Sazzag might not have been anticipated by the Dragon of Miracles, letting him get so close to Bailuo as if an assassin, a murderer, a villain with a blade or firearm, had pressed it against Bailuo's forehead, right over his heart.
"Bang!!"
The Dragon of Miracles did not give Sazzag the chance to babble on; with a single clasp of her claw, his body was squeezed until it burst, disappearing into nothingness.
"Hehehehe."
The voice of Sazzag slowly spread: "You belong to me now."
However, strands of black, mucus-like threads began to seep from between the dragon claw's fingers. They wriggled as if alive, trying to cover the dragon claw, seemingly attempting to devour the Dragon of Miracles!
"Ridiculous!"
But it was futile, for in just an instant, these dark sludges felt the vast gap between them.
"Oh?"
This was the first time Sazzag had met such an opponent, for it failed to devour her, and instead, it was the other way around—she devoured him: "Now that is quite interesting."
In front of the Dragon of Miracles, all powers were meaningless, for she pointed directly to the essence and core of all things.
What about immortality, invincibility, regeneration, reanimation, indestructibility, devouring, duplicating, plundering, and so on and so forth.
To the Dragon of Miracles, these forces were merely expressions of 'power,' but what it saw was 'Power' itself—'what you can do,' 'what you are capable of,' 'what you are doing.'
Whether it's destroying a house, obliterating a universe, or annihilating countless universes, as long as you are thinking of 'destruction' in your concept, then it's just [Destruction].
Similarly, a single cell, a person made up of countless cells, and a society composed of countless people—these were also indistinguishable.
Small and large, few and many, weak and strong, individual and collective.
The Dragon of Miracles could simplify the complex to the most elementary level, render the simplest meaningless, and even make them cease to exist effortlessly.
In terms of sheer power, even the Queen at her peak would not dare to provoke her lightly.
And this was the ultimate Miracle Creature— the Dragon of Miracles—whose strength surpassed almost all other miracles, a strength that even Bailuo himself did not fully comprehend.
"I admit, you can kill me, based purely on power, I am no match for you."
"But how do you destroy something that has already been destroyed?"
As the words fell, Sazzag suddenly appeared not far in front of Bailuo, still in the form he had taken from Harls, showing no signs of ever having been destroyed by the Dragon of Miracles.
"It's a bit tricky."
A very pleasant female voice rang out in Bailuo's mind, and he quickly asked, "Dragon?"
"The Electronic Frontier has opened the gate; we must find a way to block it!"
Bailuo didn't understand the Dragon of Miracles' meaning, and she immediately said, "We must let Artian figure out a way. Before that happens, I will keep it trapped!"
Then, the Dragon of Miracles once again seized Sazzag, and once more easily annihilated him.
But it was useless; Sazzag came back again, as if he couldn't be killed.
"It's not that he can't be killed; it's that he's been killed, and annihilated," the older apprentice sister said. "But it came back."
Now, she encountered a problem.
The Dragon of Miracles could destroy Sazzag, whether once or a million times, with great ease.
But it was like cutting water with a blade; you certainly sever the water of the moment, but you can't stop the flow, because behind it lies an ocean.
"Simply put, its true body isn't here. The Dragon of Miracles can't destroy its true body, which allows it to squeeze a part of itself through the crack, time and again."
Thus, endlessly, unless the Dragon of Miracles can go there and defeat Sazzag's true self, Sazzag will, like a nightmare, perpetually entwine above the Miracle World, unto eternity.
But the problem is, even if they could find Sazzag's true body, if the Dragon of Miracles and the Queen really do find it, can they truly defeat it?
"Sazzag is a transcended Evil God, a symbol of 'all returning to one.'"
The older apprentice sister explained, "In the ancient times, it was called 'Chaos of a Thousand Colors,' 'Eternal Twisted Supreme Lord.' To combat it, the Yagen people destroyed all worlds, then created Li Guang, forging a world 'without Sazzag,' and thus they completely obliterated it."
Indeed, Sazzag, in theory, is already 'dead,' existing in none of the known worlds.
As worlds with Sazzag were all destroyed and obliterated, the only worlds that remain, including the one inhabited by people like Bailuo, are those without Sazzag.
"Is this guy really that monstrous?!"
Bailuo initially thought his opponent was just a tentacle monster, but hearing his older apprentice sister's explanation, a creature that required the destruction of the entire world to be eradicated must be terrifyingly powerful.
"Sazzag is taking root; it's embedding its existence into the Miracle World."
In revenge against the older uncle and people like Bailuo, the Electronic Frontier has gone so far as to use the Flood Force to open a gateway for Sazzag, allowing it to descend from a 'no longer existing' world.
"Once it descends," said the older apprentice sister, "the only way to destroy it is to repeat the Yagen people's sin: destroy the entire world and then create anew with Li Guang!"
So, in theory, Twilight could restrain, even annihilate Sazzag.
Or rather, one of the reasons for Twilight's existence is to destroy terrifying monsters similar to or equivalent to Sazzag. It is a sword of world-ending, yet also a Divine Artifact protecting existence!
"Once, ten thousand times, countless times."
"How many times have you killed me?"
"It doesn't matter. I come from nothingness; time means nothing to me," said Sazzag. "I'm not afraid of pain and torment either; rather, they bring me pleasure, joy extraordinary."
