Chapter 4: My World
The moon turned green, and the clouds parted, making way for its rays that dyed the world a green shade. Kar was still having his way with the corpse and failed to notice the changes occurring around him.
Silas' corpse was stiff— his eyes fixated on the heavens with a facial expression of anger and pain. He had fallen victim to death's embrace but only for a short time.
Buzz!
Silas' iris rolled to the back of his head, leaving only the bloodshot sclera. And then it happened—black ink flowed out in waves from every corner of his eyes.
In mere seconds his eyes were pitch black and touches or emerald flames sparked to life amid the darkness and so did Silas.
Ba-Dum!
Silas' veins bulged with an emerald glow while flowed to all parts of his body. The fatigue and pain he endured seemed to fade like it never existed.
Kakaka!
Bone breaking sounds could be heard as he grabbed the ax with both palms and effortlessly pulled it out of his chest, causing blood to squirt out everywhere, but Silas didn't feel a thing. He rose to his feet as if pulled off by an invisible force.
Thud!
Kar stopped, and its eyes narrowed upon hearing a heavy thud. Its head snapped over his shoulders and there he was, Silas standing on his feet while holding the 15kg war ax like it weighed nothing.
{New Task: Kill the orc and avenge your sister!}
"Understood." Silas mumbled and turned to meet the gaze of the standing orc.
His blazing green gaze looked beyond the orc and fell on the beauty lying lifeless on the ground with her private part mutilated by this beast.
{Sin of Wrath activated!}
Buzz!
The emerald moon lost its shine and turned crimson, casting a bloody shade across the last. Silas' eyes turned bloodshot and a strange grin spread across his face as he saw the orcs' bloody dangling genitalia.
"Human alive?" Kar muttered in confusion while pulling its skirt up.
"Orc dead!" Silas hissed and lunged forward.
In barely a second, the gap between them had been closed and Silas backed down but The orc sidestepped with genuine shock in his eyes as the ax hit the ground with a loud thud!
Strong!
Without taking a breather, Silas chased after the orc—his mouth foaming while he grunted like a rabid dog. The sound of metal bending could be heard as he swung horizontally.
Pfft!
Green blood squirted out of the shallow cut on the orcs belly, however his reckless attack left him exposed to the orcs hammer fist which came down like divine judgment.
Boom!
Silas' head was pummeled into the ground while his legs jerked into the air due to the impact, and an eerie silence followed—the short but intense battle.
The orc stood a stone's throw away, and the shallow cut on its belly closed up at a rate visible to the eye. He was genuinely shocked by this human's outburst of strength and madness, mostly because it closely resembled their berserk form but a tad bit weaker.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!
A guttural growl resonated from all corners, briefly stealing away the orc's attention. His head whipped in all directions in search of the source, but to no avail.
Kar turned its attention to the fallen human, but he was no longer there. Silas stood beside his sister's corpse—his heart broken by the look of terror in her final moments. Her cries for him to stand echoed in his head—her voice haunting him every minute.
Ba-Dum! Ba-Dum!
Silas turned to the Kar and a red aura focused from his body. The aura radiated intense heat and had a bubbly nature. The grass beneath his feet was set ablaze, while the green streaks on his hair turned red.
Kar wasn't sure why, but it could see the faint outline of a beast looming behind this human. There was something sinister and dark about this human. He took a step back, and Silas abruptly crouched like a beast preparing to pounce.
Bang!
Silas lunged forward, but Kar quickly picked up his battle-ax and hacked down viciously, expecting Silas to dodge. Unfortunately, he was dealing with a mad dog!
The war ax lodged in his back, but strangely couldn't penetrate deep. However, the same couldn't be said for Silas—his hand stabbed into the orcs' abdomen like a blade and with a pull, small intestines were sent hurling in the air.
Blegh!
Kar coughed up a mouthful of blood and jerked back—pain etched all over its face
Roarrrrrr!
Silas' red aura exploded, sending the orc hurtling down the open field. He hit the ground with a bang and rolled a couple of times near the forest.
Berserk Mode!
Kar's burning green eyes burnt even brighter than ever. Green fumes escaped his skin as tusks began to grow. It got on one knee and turned, however, Silas was standing in front of it with his burning crimson eyes.
Swish!
Kar growled and swung his massive fist at the human, only for his arm to be caught like it weighed nothing. It looked towards its hand and noticed its burning emerald berserk energy flowed into Silas' body.
Kar's glow waned while Silas glowed brighter.
Bam!
Silas headbutted the 7ft tall orc to the ground before stepping on one of its knees and with a little pressure a bone breaking round echoed across the night.
Kar tried to kick the human, but he caught his leg, flung him into the air before pulling him down with a heavy thud. Kar's vision blurred, and it felt like all his breath rushed upon impact.
He coughed up a mouthful of blood, but its suffering had only begun.
Kar's eyes widened as it felt Silas hands around its genitals, his nails stabbing into its balls. Even before it could let out a painful cry as the human ripped it off with one pull.
Cries of pain were accompanied by inhuman grunts and skin tearing sounds. If one listened from a distance, they would believe it was a beast mauling a human, but it was the other way around.
Its cries of pain lasted for nearly an hour, and the blood moon slowly faded, returning to normal. The dark clouds parted, and the rays fell directly in on the mutilated corpse, flanked by half-eaten organs.
Silas' blood soaked figure was left as he stood over Kar's corpse. His testicles were still in Silas' hand as he wore a crazed smile on his face and mumbled the same words repeatedly.
"Orc Dead! Motherfucking orc, Dead!" He laughed like a depraved beast.
