My hands trembled as I saw what was in front of me, my heart pounding in excitement. The laptop whirred, lights flashing, fans moving in a slow, torturous rhythm. I held my breath.

A Jackpot. Extremely rare item specially in an epic form. The one I'd been chasing for what felt like forever. I had always wanted to travel to another universe…

My brain short-circuited. My vision tunneled as pure, unfiltered shock surged through me like an electric jolt. My hands went numb, my knees wobbled, and an incoherent sound—somewhere between a gasp and a wheeze—escaped my lips.

I tried to process it, to ground myself, but nope. My body had other plans. The sheer, overwhelming joy overloaded my system, and the last thing I saw was the prize glistening in front of me. A book that glowed appeared before everything went dark.

…Thud.

(2 hours later)

Waking up I saw the book floating in front of my face and moved out of my face when I decided to sit up. The book slowly approached me again and the air shimmered with an ethereal glow as the pages of the Celestial Spellbook flipped on their own, halting on a page marked with radiant silver ink. Across the parchment, the spell's name pulsed softly.

>[Chapter 1: Starlit Gate – The Key to the Cosmos

Starlit Gate – A Passage Between Worlds.

The words were written in an elegant, flowing script, and beneath them, a detailed illustration of a glowing crescent-shaped portal shimmered as if it were alive. The spell was ancient, predating even the first recorded Mewni royal bloodline. It was said to be a gift from the cosmos itself, a gateway for those who sought to explore the infinite reaches of existence.

Casting the Starlit Gate

The spell required three key elements:

A clear intention – The caster must have a strong mental image of the world they wish to reach.

A celestial focal point – Starlit magic thrives on cosmic energy. The spell is strongest when cast under the night sky or near a source of powerful magic.

The incantation – Spoken in the language of the stars, the words of the spell must be spoken with absolute clarity.

"Aperire portas astrorum, transire fines temporis et spatii."

("Open the gates of the stars, cross the boundaries of time and space.")

When spoken correctly, a crescent-shaped tear in the air forms, unveiling a passage lined with glowing constellations. The edges ripple like water, revealing glimpses of the chosen destination beyond the threshold.

The Rules of the Gate

The portal remains open for one minute unless the caster forcibly closes it.

If the destination is unstable, the spell may collapse prematurely.

If interrupted mid-cast, the portal can lead to unintended worlds or even the Void Between Realities.

Certain locations protected by barriers of cosmic magic may require additional power sources to breach.

As the book outlined the spell, the page beneath the incantation seemed to flicker, revealing hidden ink that had yet to be read. A final note scrawled itself across the bottom of the page:

"The next page tells the story of the spell's creation... but some knowledge is meant to remain forgotten."]<

Next Page: The Legend Behind Starlit Gate…

Then I remembered there were more chapters, I quickly skimmed through them. Meanwhile, the book was still berry big (yes, still running with that joke), and each chapter was so fucking long, detailing how every spell was created and what it could be used for.

Alright, I could work with this… but first, I needed to know how to actually say the words correctly. So—Google it is.

I tossed the phrases into Google Translate and hit the pronunciation button, expecting something cool and powerful. Instead, what I got was… creepy. The way the robot voice spoke the words sent a chill down my spine. Yeah, no. I decided right then and there that maybe experimenting with magic wasn't the smartest move. The last thing I needed was to accidentally get sent to the void or another dimension just because I mixed up the words. I closed the book and left it on my bed—realizing I hadn't eaten in hours. Time to fix that with my "favorite" food.

(15 minutes later…)

After some debate, I ended up making three turkey sandwiches. Don't judge, also turkey over ham! FOR LIFE! DON'T DISRESPECT TURKEY! I AM ALSO STILL VERY BROKE

Anyways as I bit into one, a thought popped into my head—did this technically make me a wizard? Or a sorcerer? Wait… what the hell was the difference? They were both magic users, right? Maybe the book had the answer… Kinda wanted to check it now.

As if responding to my thoughts, the book suddenly began to glow. Before I could even react, it shot off the bed and zoomed toward me, stopping mere inches from my face. I flinched, almost choking on my sandwich.

Well. That wasn't terrifying at all…

A new thought hit me—was it responding to me? I decided to test it. I moved to the other side of my small "kitchen"… and sure enough, the book followed.

HELL YEAH. A book that follows me? Now that's a berry nice bonus. Still hungry, though…

(5 minutes later…)

I scarfed down my food as fast as humanly possible and finally said, "Eh, screw it," before diving into the book.

The spells were complex, but they were categorized into four main types, just like the system described. Then, those categories were divided even further. There were two major kinds of spells—ones that required spoken words and ones that only needed to be thought of to activate. The spoken ones were the most powerful, covering things like dimensional magic. Meanwhile, the thought-based ones were weaker—defensive spells, healing magic, things like Healing Starlight.

The other categories had a mix of both types. Some of the spells were insanely powerful but I also noticed that I needed to be worthy to even open the book which I apparently already was? Well, at least the books thought so. So the book thought I was worthy but the hammer didn't?

For now, I didn't need magic. Most of the spells available weren't really useful at the moment. The one I did want to try needed an open night sky to activate, and it was only 7 PM. So, I had time.

There was just one problem.

Was I ready?

Was I really prepared to travel to other worlds? What about time dilation? What if I spent a week in another world, but years passed here? I needed to prepare.

At least I had some advantages. My Hamon training was solid—enough that I was close to super-soldier levels. Add that to my other items—the Spider Totem, the gauntlets, and the Phoenix Feather, which gave me slow regeneration.

The real question was where should I go first?

I needed to start somewhere safe… or at least somewhere that wouldn't kill me instantly. Miraculous Ladybug? I could snag a Miraculous. My Little Pony? I could learn magic. Konosuba? …Okay, that was my perverted side coming out, but hey, the Omniverse is infinite.

Wait—Apex Legends. I could steal some high-tech gear. Cyberpunk 2077? Also a tech goldmine… but no one gets a happy ending in Night City... Mass Effect would be incredible, but also insanely dangerous—and I had no identification in that universe.

Wait, that was a huge issue.

I had no ID in any world. Unless I could pay someone to make false documents or work with the government, I would probably end up getting captured.

So that actually limited my options.

…Wait. Invincible. If I struck a deal with Cecil and worked for him, I could learn combat skills, maybe even get proper training. It was a dangerous world, but at least I'd be able to survive. Put a pin in that.

Valorant? Cool setting, but I had zero gun skills. Wait… I have no real skills at all to fight them. I only had my items and Hamon.

Damn it.

The odds were completely stacked against me.

I might actually cry…

No? Okay good

Nier automata? I would be worshipped by the androids but I might be killed the second I appear by other robots. Marvel and Dc have gods that could kill me. Wait, would the living tribunal or TVA come for me? ...Maybe…Putting a pin in that for sure.

Star vs the forces of evil would work but I did get the book from that universe so maybe not a good idea but maybe from another alternative world?

WAIT! How do I get the items from the system anyways? Does it create them? Or just steal them?

(3rd person)(World: Witcher)

In the dim glow of torchlight, deep within the twisting tunnels beneath Novigrad, a goblin merchant named Snivvel counted his earnings. His clawed fingers ran over coins of various origins—ducats, crowns, even some elven tokens of long-forgotten empires. But nestled among them was his prized possession: the Goblin Coin.

Snivvel grinned wickedly, his yellowed fangs glinting as he turned the coin between his fingers. "Ahh, my lovely little treasure," he muttered, pressing the coin against his cheek. "You make trade so much sweeter."

The underground black market was quieter tonight. Few dared venture here without purpose, and Snivvel was certain no thieves lurked nearby. His stall, a ramshackle wooden stand cluttered with cursed amulets and dubious potions, stood beneath a crooked archway. A single candle flickered beside him.

Then, the light changed.

It was subtle at first—a shimmer, a strange glimmer beyond the tunnel's reach. Snivvel squinted, his goblin eyes adjusting to the unnatural glow forming in the darkness. A pale white light—thin as mist but pulsing like a heartbeat—began to weave through the cavern walls. It slithered, silent and slow, approaching his stall like a predator stalking its prey.

Snivvel's pointed ears twitched. His grip on the Goblin Coin tightened.

"What... is this?" he hissed, scuttling backward. His instincts screamed at him to run.

But before he could act, the light struck.

In an instant, it surged forward, wrapping around his stall like spectral fingers. The air grew heavy, thick with a humming energy that made Snivvel's bones ache. He let out a strangled screech, shielding his face as the eerie glow concentrated into a single point—directly above his coin.

Then, in a flash, the Goblin Coin vanished.

The light twisted and retracted, spiraling upward, taking the stolen coin with it. The merchant gasped, scrambling onto his stall, but his claws swiped at empty air. The white light moved with intelligence, darting away like a wisp in the wind. It flickered one last time before disappearing into the abyss of the tunnels.

And just like that, it was gone.

Snivvel sat frozen, his breath ragged. His precious treasure, the coin of the hidden markets, was stolen before his very eyes.

A deep, rumbling laugh echoed from the cavern depths and then.

" MY COIN!" He screeched, his voice sharp with panic

(First POV)(World: Origin World)

...It doesn't matter right now, I will think about that later.

Steven universe would be a good world if it is in the start of the series since they do not fight any big bosses. Let's put a pin in that world.

Well I have time to think about it all day tomorrow. I am not dealing with this bullshit tonight.

"Mason, what is that?" BMO asked adorably.

Crap, I forgot about BMO.

"Just a new magic item," I replied casually.

"Oh, okay." He blinked once, then immediately fell back asleep.

How the hell does a robot sleep? I mean, yeah, he has robotic organs like in the show, just smaller… but still. Another weird thing to pin for later.

Anyway, after my afternoon workout that I finished before doing my gacha, I was sleepy and it hit me hard. I decided to leave the book on my "kitchen counter." Not that it was much of a kitchen—just a 'eh' surface to dump stuff on like my microwave or an air fryer, if I had one..… If I ever get rich, the first thing I'll buy is an air fryer…

Fuck it time to sleep!

Getting on my bed and behind my covers I let sleep overtake me but before I fell asleep I had one question with happiness bubbling inside me…

Which world should I go to first?

.....

(Third POV)(POV: N1ghtmAre RE4lm)

Bill had been watching Mason for a while now. At first, it was just simple curiosity—the kind that came when something, or someone, disrupted the normal. But Mason was different. Strange, even to Bill. A puzzle that Bill was determined to solve.

But now? Now, Mason wasn't just interesting. He was dangerous.

Watching from his dimension, Bill's sharp eye locked onto Mason's small, makeshift living space. The air crackled with latent energy, and in Mason's kitchen counter rested something powerful—something that should not be in the hands of an amateur. The Celestial Spellbook hovered inches above the counter, its pages flipping on their own, whispering ancient secrets only its wielder could hear. Bill could feel the magic radiating from it.

That book wasn't just a relic—it was a gateway, a weapon, and a throne all in one. Interdimensional travel, elemental magic, illusions… Damn. Mason had lucked into something truly incredible.

Bill laughed, adjusting his tie. He'd seen enough. Mason and his book were now his.

Mason had no idea what he had in his possession or how powerful he was to summon that book.

And Bill?

He wasn't going to let that kind of power go away easily.

Pretty good chapter not going to lie.

Bill will try to make deals with mason or use him during some of his adventures, he will not always be watching mason since he has Ford to find like the original series.

He knows that mason can "summon items" and that he uses "tickets" but nothing else since he only recently started to watch mason. He will try to intervene in other universes like him appearing in opportunities that mason might need help fighting a villain or showing himself to other characters to cause chaos.

READ THIS PLEASE!!!

Any people who reads this far, please comment on the world you would like to see him travel, no one has commented really so I might pick the world he travels to first, unless someone comments like jeffmiste and PidgeonKing.

You can also say what items you want him to take specifically like the backpack, the blades of chaos and ect. You can ask what items there is in the shop and I will give you a small list. You can also ask for items for him to buy. I truly want my story to be interactive and you can make changes in the story like him selling something.

I might do a rewrite when we get to 20 chapters since I could make the old chapters better but also get more people to read the series but that will be in the future guys!

Next chapter will be updated first on this website. Come back and continue reading tomorrow, everyone!

Tip: You can use left, right, A and D keyboard keys to browse between chapters.
