Hermes
The protagonist of this story. A 15-year-old with silver hair and green eyes.

Hermes’s childhood friend. A 15-year-old with purple hair and eyes.
The eldest daughter of the prestigious Duke Trakia family. Extremely beautiful, rumored as the ‘Night Fairy.’
Once mocked as the ‘Defective Lady’ for her poor magic control, she has overcome this and is now a top-class magician.
She cares deeply for Hermes and regrets being unable to help him during his exile. She often tries to keep him by her side, though not forcefully due to her kind nature.

[Soteira Trivia]
A Bloodline Magic of the Trakia family, reputed as the strongest among them.
Its effect is communication with underworld residents, summoning spirit soldiers with the souls’ will.
These soldiers have high resistance to physical and magical attacks and can be resummoned with minimal magic as long as the soul’s will remains.
The nature of the spirits is heavily influenced by the caster’s personality.

Sara von Hartmann
Katia’s friend at school. A 15-year-old with blonde hair and blue eyes.
Born to the small noble Baron Hartmann family, she became famous for her ‘dual aptitude’ in handling two Bloodline Magics.
She was noticed by the second prince Aster for her beauty and fame after entering the academy, unintentionally taking the position of his fiancée from Katia, causing her distress.
They have since reconciled and are now closer than ever.

Her first magic, a Bloodline Magic she shouldn’t have inherited as a baron’s daughter.
Its effect is creating barriers. She can quickly generate appropriate barriers in desired locations, with high versatility.

Her second magic is also not passed down in the baron family.

Hermes’s master. A red-haired, blue-eyed woman of unknown age.
The third princess of the Eustia Kingdom, and the second ‘triple aptitude’ magician in the kingdom’s history. She was once deemed the next queen.
However, her eccentric nature and overwhelming power led to her exile and branding as a ‘witch’.
She then perfected her magic theory, developing the [Emerald Tablet], and decided to pass it to someone without Bloodline Magic, meeting Hermes and taking him as her disciple.
She now dotes on Hermes, enjoys his growth, and explores the potential of her magic.

Her first magic, a royal Bloodline Magic.
Its effect is shooting magical beams from above. It’s top-class in power and extremely difficult to defend against due to its ‘falling from the sky’ nature.
With broad range and high attack performance, it’s unmatched among Bloodline Magics.

Her second magic, a rare royal Bloodline Magic.
Its effect is flight. While other magics (like wind magic) can’t freely control flight, this magic allows unrestricted flying with low magic consumption.

Her third magic, is of unknown origin, concept, and nature, making it an aberrant Bloodline Magic.

Aster Joseph von Eustia
Former second prince of the Justia Kingdom. A 15-year-old with blond hair and crimson eyes.
He grew up relying on his exceptional magical talent since childhood, earning admiration forcefully with his arrogant demeanor and powerful abilities.
He harbored resentment towards Hermes after witnessing his talent, which led to despair. He developed an obsession with Hermes.
Currently stripped of his royal status and privileges, he is said to be imprisoned.
Magic
[Ahura Mazda]
A powerful magic among the royal bloodline, known for its dominance and flames.
Its effect includes overwhelming firepower and two types of controlling flames: one to control oneself and others’ bodies, allowing movements beyond physical limits.
Liberation
Simply enhances normal power. It significantly increases firepower and strength. Additionally, Aster can now exert much more powerful effects with the controlling flames than before.
Chris von Frembleed
Hermes’s elder brother. A 20-year-old with silver hair and green eyes.
Expected to be the outstanding heir of the marquisate in his childhood, all expectations shifted to Hermes the moment he was born.

Katia’s father. Around 40 years old with purple hair and blue eyes.
Once a friend of Rose, he sympathized with her ideology and tried to change the Justia Kingdom’s privilege-based society.
Although Rose left the capital, he still considers her a good friend. He continues to work secretly to change the country, believing in the ideas she taught him. His Bloodline Magic is currently unknown.
Sita von Trakia
Katia’s mother, is deceased. She had purple hair and purple eyes.
She had a significant influence on Katia’s current ideology. She lost her life fighting against a horde of monsters to protect the people. She may still be watching over them from somewhere in the underworld.
