Chapter 47: Chapter 47: Element Resonance
Forgot it was the end of the month, so been a bit busy with work, but haven't had work stress this week, which is a plus o.o.
Don't forget those power stones!

Aurelia soon entered a deep state of meditation, a state that many aspire to experience during one's training.
One may call it an epiphany. Others might call it enlightenment.
But deep down, Aurelia could hear chains snapping inside of her. constantly breaking free of restraints she never thought she still had.
However, that wasn't the only thing to follow.
The more Roselia started to carve out her back with a stream of mana, the intensity soon followed.
At first, all Aurelia felt was a tingly sensation on her back, as if the hairs suddenly stood up. In the next moments, that changed to having fiery ants bite into her, causing her to grit her teeth. Once Roselia was around halfway through her insignia, the external pain ended, but then the internal pain began. She wanted to grit her teeth harder, and felt like this moment lasted an eternity.
However, despite the growing pain she's been experiencing, her heart felt at ease, which only rose her curiosity.
'How strange, I will admit Master Vander was never easy on me, and the pain has been bearable so far, but why do I feel such serenity?', Aurelia wondered as she kept her eyes closed.
Little did she know, the mana Roselia was releasing as she moved her staff over Aurelia's back started to change color from the normal blue. Not only that, it started to move toward Aurelia, slowly covering her body. At first the blue aura started to flicker, only to congeal into rather vibrant violet. After Roselia reached halfway, the first change occurred. Skreee!
A loud screech suddenly resounded in the room, only to have a small bolt of lightning shoot out diagonally left from Aurelia's body. Roselia's pupils constricted a bit, before she observed her while she continued her spell. As for Prince Olivert though...
The moment the first little bolt of lightning struck out, his eyes turned wide. He was also astonished by the spell Roselia was casting, but he didn't think he would get to see a visible change, like at all. He even flinched a bit seeing a lightning bolt suddenly come shooting out not too far from his spot on the left, not caused by any sort of orbal science or weather. The lightning bolt quickly reached the end of its path, unfortunately shattering a flower vase on one of the tables in the corner.
As for Roselia, I heard her speak directly into my mind as she started the second half of the Hexen Clan insignia.
"Aurelia is indeed a monster. In fact, I would even go so far to call her a freak of nature.", Roselia said, speaking to me directly in my mind.
"I'm currently focused on my own meditation, so what's happening outside? I suddenly heard a loud screech just now.", I asked Roselia.
"I've only been inscribing my own insignia on her body, but on her own, her Mana Core is being formed as we speak. Just now, we have witnessed her first resonance.", Roselia explained to me.
"A resonance with the elements even before her Core finished forming...?", I responded in surprise.
"Umu. And I expect yours to go similarly, since I am giving you my personal insignia on top of it.".
"Heh. Well, let me guess, with that noise just now, did Aurelia experience a resonance with lightning?", I decided to ask.
"She did. Lightning is one of the more explosive elements out there. it should do her well to add it to her battles.", Roselia answered. "And on top of that, she's bearing this pain rather well. I'm almost done. with this spell.", Roselia continued to say.
"I see. I am looking forward to what I will achieve, but I can already give a good guess on what my elements will turn out to be.", I replied happily.
"We shall see.", Roselia concluded, only to continue her spell. By now she was way over halfway, to the point she was around two thirds done. Yet strangely, Aurelia stopped grunting in pain, and her face started to feel more relaxed, despite the fight currently going on inside of her.
"Hoh? To think she would even have enough spare mental energy to suppress the pain. Looks like I was not wrong to impart her with this spell.", Roselia complimented Aurelia.
As for Aurelia, she felt extremely calm now. In the next moment, Roselia's engraving finished, and a Hexen Clan symbol made out of Mana could now be seen on her back. However, that only lasted for a brief moment, before the symbol vanished, as if nothing happened.
Seeing the spell done, Aurelia ended her meditation and slowly opened her eyes, only to find herself in surprise. A vibrant violet aura could now be seen all over her body. Lights would flicker, behaving like lightning, but at the same time the aura felt tranquil.
"I didn't know feeling magic could be so pleasant, nor could it behave like this. It feels very different from battle qi.", Aurelia responded happily, slowly moving her limbs around as she saw how her aura behaved. It would stick around her, just like battle qi, but the feeling was far different.
Next, Aurelia decided to see if she could pull this aura back inside, and sure enough, she was able to. The violet aura quickly vanished from sight, and the atmosphere returned to normal. However, just as it finished, a few zaps struck Aurelia's hair, causing it to puff out. Her hair now looked like a hedgehog's.
The moment Aurelia's hair puffed out, a chuckle escaped from Prince Olivert's mouth, which caused Aurelia to start turning around. His eyes immediately looked the other way, only to quickly speak out to her.
"M-Miss Aurelia, if you are going to look this way, at least put your clothes back on! Even I can tell the spell is done.", Prince Olivert quickly said to Aurelia. Aurelia let out a chuckle hearing that.
"Haha, that is right. The spell is done. I got too absorbed just now. I apologize for my blunder.", Aurelia said, only to get off the bed. Judging from the fact she jumped off the and hearing her go through her clothes, she probably had her glory facing back at me. As much as I wanted to see it, I kept my eyes closed, continuing my [Meditate]. I had to keep reminding myself I was now in a body of a little child, being three years in fact. I could see why those who have reincarnated, dying from a middle aged life could be stressful. If I recall, I used to be twenty-eight before the Gamer system chose me, reincarnating into Zemuria. (A/N: Not sure if I specified his age before, but changing it to 28)
Anything romance related would unfortunately not blossom for a good long while. And besides, with how Aurelia looked at me with that response from earlier, I say I probably had a ways to go.
"Hoho.", Roselia suddenly said inside my mind again. "So you do have an interest to bed her.", Roselia retorted at me.
"...You heard that?", I asked.
"Umu. Don't forget I'm still connected with your mind. I will leave it after my spells are done casting tonight."
"Ugh, I still need to get used to that, especially after I showed you everything.".
"And you've only just become my apprentice, you better be ready.", Roselia retorted back at me.
"Heh, maybe being born as a noble isn't such bad luck after all. I could tell you one of my dreams, Rose.", I decided to say.
"Aspirations are a great thing to hold, but isn't being granted a second chance good enough already?", Roselia asked me.
"That is true, but since I've crossed over here, I need to enjoy its benefits Zemuria has to offer to its fullest. And that is to seek out a harem!", I announced to Roselia.
"A harem huh? You talk big, but then again where you hail from royalty now. At least in that aspect, society will not shun you down.", Roselia responded to me.
"Right? I can definitely see it as a blessing.", I inwardly smiled. However, at this moment, I unexpectedly heard a ding go off inside my mind.
[Ding! Title Harem Seeker's level has risen Lv1->Lv2]
Hearing this, I wanted to blink. At the same time, I heard Roselia let out a laugh in my mind. However, it wasn't just that, we heard Aurelia let out a laugh, which caused me to open my eyes. The moment I saw Aurelia, she was fully dressed with her hair way out out of whack but she wasn't the only one who looked like that. I could see her pointing her finger at Prince Olivert, whose hair was also puffed out now thanks to receiving a tiny lightning shot from Aurelia. Both of their hair were now a mess.
"Haha!, I am going to enjoy this.", Aurelia said, seeing an little lightning streak across her finger.
"Oh no...", Prince Olivert tried to retort, but if he did, he would likely receive another strike from her.
'May you rest in peace, Prince Olivert.', I inwardly retorted, which caused Roselia to le out another chuckle.
It didn't take long before Aurelia saw that I was looking at her, only to look back at me with my eyes open.
"Sorry about that, I'm just having a wonderful experience with this newfound ability. I am not sure why, but it didn't take me long to see how Mana can be used, since it can influence the elements directly. It looks like I have an affinity for lightning.", Aurelia responded.
"That indeed seems to be the case here. And it is fine. It's nice to see you were able to bear through with it. Are you feeling fine?", I decided to ask.
"I am. I guess you are up next, Naoto.", Aurelia said.
"Yes. I am ready to proceed, Roselia.", I said with a determined look.
"Umu, let us see if you can bear what she bore.", Roselia said, only to start preparing her next spell.

What elements do you think Naoto will resonate with?
Hint: It's already been revealed in his skills xD
