A Failure's hopeful Journey

You Zhichi vanished from her place and she flew over the front lines of the pack. In the back of the attacking wolves, the alpha was looking at the sky. It had sensed You Zhichi's arrival and was prepared to attack. 

The celestial maiden nodded in her heart when she saw the reaction of this guy. worthy of being a level eight alpha wolf. She descended from the void but still did not land on the ground. Her ethereal figure wrapped in white and blue battle armor, with the mask of a white wolf covering her face, looked like a goddess from heaven appeared to bless the wolf clan. 

The alpha growled and the surrounding guardian wolves also lowered their bodies as they exposed their fangs to You Zhichi. The celestial maiden was not worried. She waved her hand and cast a few arrays in an instant. The guardian wolves were quickly suppressed. They let out a whining sound under the imprisonment array. 

You Zhichi had cast a spirit suppressing array, that prevented the wolves of any spirit channeling through their bodies if they wished to not experience maddening pain. You Zhichi spoke in her soft and gentle voice, "Stay obedient, you will not feel any pain. I came for your leader." 

The guardians stopped resisting. The pain was too compelling for them. The Alpha was not cruel to his people so he growled and ordered them to stay back. They were just normal mutts after the array impression anyway. The beasts were all smart and spiritual enough to understand human language. 

You Zhichi's battle armor picked up the low growl emitted by the Alpha and smiled beneath the mask. This guy was a beast but he still had some sense of compassion. However, her appreciation had come to an end soon. 

The alpha wolf raised his blood-red eyes at You Zhichi and transmitted his thoughts over, "Cunning creature, did you come here to be my food? It has been long since I had tender female flesh. What breed are you?" 

You Zhichi has never been talked so rudely. She was addressed with words like 'creature, tender female flesh, breed' this arrogant fool did not know that the Celestial maiden was kind only when you are kind to her but she was extremely demonic once she was irritated. The alpha had successfully irritated her. 

You Zhichi replied, "At first I want to give you a fair chance and let you be my companion, but now you have pissed me off. I will have you be my pet. I hope you like a collar around that mane of yours." 

The wolf was surprised and was enraged even quickly when he heard these words. All the surrounding wolves had their fur standing like needles when they heard this. They did not dare to look at their Alpha directly in the eye, yet this female dared to challenge him? That too so rudely. 

They were angry at You Zhichi and scared of the rage of their leader. The Alpha transmitted his thoughts again, "You have enraged me by trampling on my dignity. I will make you beg for mercy." 

He opened his mouth and a streak of lightning flashed at You Zhichi. The celestial maiden was angry but she was calm. The siblings had this quality that the angrier they became the calmer they will be. The calm is what scared people the most. 

You Zhichi did not move from her place but raised her hand and snapped her fingers. Her snap echoed as if it was thunder in the sky. 

Snap!!!

A halo condensed from the spirit energy in front of her and the lightning from the wolf fell on it. The next moment the lightning was absorbed by the halo and shot back at the wolf. The wolf did not expect this but he was prepared, the beasts had keener instincts. He jumped back to avoid the lightning and You Zhichi used this moment to move. 

She vanished from her place and her figure appeared at the wolf's side. She held a long spear in her hand. Yes, she had mastered Spear as her third main weapon. She used the sword as the first, whips as the second, and spears as the third. 

She was not serious with this 'mutt' so spears would do. She stabbed her spear forward and a sharp piecing intent radiated from it. The wolf dodged in a hurry and was scared for a second. This female came at him with the intent to kill. He was confused, did she not said, she will take him as a pet. Who kills the pet. He felt deceived and was enraged. This female did not keep her word, so he wished to eat her even more. 

The wolf flashed and vanished from his spot, a sharp and strong claw came at You Zhichi from behind her and passed through. The girl had moved already and left an afterimage for the wolf to attack. The next moment a strong pain came from the wolf's abdomen. A slender shaft has hit him on the side. 

The wolf flew away from the impact and whined as it landed. He cursed You Zhichi for being a monster in his heart. He opened his mouth again and spat lightning at the girl. The celestial maiden only swung her spear and dispelled the attack. 

Originally the disparity between the peak of primal soul and grade eight beast was not so much, but You Zhichi was just that talented to make this wolf feel helpless. The beast was hurt and he could not put his front leg on the ground from the injury on his side. You Zhichi saw this and after a few efforts of the alpha, when she saw that this guy was not good enough to sustain the challenge, she said, "Enough." 

She raised her hand and snapped her fingers, the wolf was overcome with a dreadful chill. It only saw a snowflake falling over his snout and the next moment, the beast froze. Yet he can still hear and see everything. You Zhichi appeared in front of him and cast a few arrays, she said, "You will be my pet." 

The wolf showed her arrogance so in return he learned what true arrogance meant. You Zhichi was the heaven-defying talent, she was a maiden with a mirror for her heart. She will treat you the way you treat her. 

The girl waved her hand and vanished from the place along with the Alpha wolf popsicle.
