A Demon King Through The Worlds

Chapter 12: Chapter 12: Gun

"...So you are immortal?"

Kie's first concern was not about him being one of the terrible man-eating demons, nor about the fact that he would have other wives.

She didn't care how many people he killed or would kill, as long as it wasn't someone from her family.

She didn't care about polygamy, after all, until recently it was very common.

The first concern that appeared in her mind was that she would get older, while he would remain young.

"Yes, and soon you will be too." Lucian replied, seeming to see Kie's concerns.

"As?" Kie asked confused.

'Is there the legendary elixir of immortality?'

"I will turn you into a demon."

"Can humans be transformed?!" Surprise appeared on Kie's face upon hearing this.

Only demon slayers and those who were attacked by people they knew, knew this fact.

"Yes, our race of demons is very different from those that appear in mythology. The first one appeared a thousand years ago due to some events, and the rest were transformed by his blood."

"I understand" Kie nodded in understanding, at the same time looking reflective, as she walked towards the kitchen to make lunch.

And Lucian, seeing her leave, only wondered what made her reflective.

.....

After the dialogue with Kie, Lucian soon returned to his daily routine.

Training followed by some more training.

Today he would be enriching his means of attack, using his body manipulation powers to create a weapon.

Unlike the method of extending body parts to fight, he would now use his biological material to create a "fire" weapon.

"It won't be complicated anyway."

Then he molded bones to fit the shape of the gun's body in a very easy process, with only the added difficulty of rifling the barrel.

- The rifling on the barrel adds rotation to the projectile, which improves its stability.

For the projectiles, he created' a capsule out of bones, and filled it with blood to make it highly poisonous.

Thus, after reaching the target, the external part ruptures, releasing blood into the target's body.

With the easy part already completed, came the difficult part, the propulsion system.

His blood can't explode so of course he couldn't use such a system.

Naturally he wouldn't use gunpowder, if he wanted to use it, he would simply use a normal gun.

Thinking a little, he decided to shape his muscles into a "spring", which would give the projectile momentum.

'Somewhat similar to the compressed air weapon system'

Don't underestimate compressed air guns thinking about airsoft guns. Gunpowder weapons use the gas generated by the chemical reaction of burning gunpowder to propel the projectile.

The difference is that long gas weapons use a spring and piston to compress the air.

However, considering the force of contraction and extension of

muscles of the demon king, pushing force generated by this

spring easily equals the propulsion of gunpowder.

Of course, if he obtained "explosive blood" in the future, he could consider modifying the propulsion system.

After all these steps he looked at his creation.

A white pistol with red accents, a long barrel for better stability and accuracy.

(think of Alucard's casull, but white and red)

The "loader" being an organ capable of generating the projectiles that will be fired.

And to add the finishing touch, engraved on the left side.

What followed was a series of tests; range, accuracy, penetration capacity, impact and projectile speed.

"250 meters range, After that the accuracy and power are considerably reduced."

"The accuracy is good."

"The penetration capacity is sufficient."

"The impact is also enough."

"Compared to my hypersonic speed, the bullet's supersonic speed is much lower, but it's still good."

Lucian took notes while observing the target in a tree, with bullets deeply inserted into the trunk.

"...Too bad this is a little weak by my standards, but it's cool and can be used by anyone." Lucian concluded, nodding his head.

Yes, that was the real use of this pistol he had created, to arm those who were weaker than him.

Devil No.1 would not change its combat power much, but it could even be used by humans.

Humans with firearms already completely change their combat capacity, by having infinite ammunition, this increase becomes exponentially greater.

Lucian's imagination gradually became wild as his fantasies began to flow.

A million immortal soldiers who do not fear pain or death, with infinite ammunition and highly unified and efficient command through telepathy.

Not that this was difficult to obtain.

Even more so when you think that those who were hit and managed to survive would be transformed into demons.

In fact, in the not so distant future he would create an army of such magnitude...

"I think it's almost time for my stay here to end." He said, leaving the small training ground he had been using for the past few days.

Leaving only crushed stones, and broken, cut or perforated logs to tell the story.

"Should I check on the progress of things on Daki's side?" Lucian wondered, as he walked through the forest towards the Kamado house.

"Daki…" he called telepathically.

After a few seconds Daki replied: "Yes?"

"How's the plan going?"

"People from the Demon Slayer Corps have increased, and they frequently arrive here, but it seems they suspect something or are looking for more accurate news, and they haven't sent any hashira yet."

"I see... Things are a little slower than I thought they would be."

Not that this was incomprehensible, in the original work, it would still take more than 2 years before they sent a hashira to the red light district.

"Sorry for failing your expectations." Daki immediately apologized, feeling that he had let Lucian down.

"There is no need for this, it is not your fault. Now, should I say they are fearful or cautious?" Lucian comforted Daki lightly before he scoffed at the demon slayers.

"Of course it must be said that they are fearful!" Daki exclaimed excitedly, of course, her excitement coming from the fact that Lucian didn't blame her and even comforted her.

"Uh…" Suddenly, Lucian froze and then raised his head, looking into the distance with cold eyes.

"Did something happen?" Daki asked, noticing Lucian's strangeness.

"Someone killed Hantengu." Lucian replied.
