● Brain Unit Core Growth Status
No.1 “Akane” and No.2 “Ichigo” are steadily mastering aerial-strategic thinking patterns.
They’re expected to be configurable as strategic AIs for regional fortress hubs.
Final calibration is underway to begin mass production of A-class and I-class brain units.
For fortress installation, each will be designed with core capability equivalent to four-unit modules, expandable as needed.
No.3 “Utsugi” and No.4 “Erika” show exceptional aptitude in machine operation.
Even during remote control, they maintain extreme precision. Erika, in particular, has outstanding group-unit control.
U-class and E-class brain units are expected to function as command units or tactical AIs.
E-class units, when mounted on a mothership-class vessel, may dramatically boost combat capability.
No.5 “Olive” shows extraordinary aptitude in design, manufacturing, and facility maintenance.
Conversely, she performs below catalog specs in all other categories, making her a highly specialized unit.
O-class brain units are projected to serve as central management AIs for fortress bases.
With core performance at about ten-unit capacity, they can independently handle base development and maintenance.
● Fortress No. 2 Progress Report
Fortress No. 2 is steadily expanding its facilities, mainly under Ichigo’s direction.
Though resources are partially allocated for mining, which is increasing productivity, almost all output is still channeled into building the fortress or manufacturing machinery. As a result, the net balance is only slightly positive.
Once the core structure is stable, we'll rapidly scale up mining machines. Akane and Ichigo are drafting plans to accelerate this.
However, there’s a slight resource drain from having to supply Fratara City, which is holding us back.
We’d like to wrap things up there and pull out soon.
The first milestone for Fortress No. 2 is installing three large general-purpose printer machines.
Currently, auxiliary systems are still under construction, and heavy equipment is being transported from
Once even one large printer is up and running, transport costs will be drastically reduced.
The switch to hydrogen gas turbines for ship propulsion is complete, but oil reserves took a major hit during the transition.
We need to set up for oil exploration ASAP.
● Telek Port City Area Status
The Telek Port area has mostly stabilized.
The expanded farmland is running smoothly, and future harvests look promising.
Development of the Iron Town is also progressing well, with iron ore production steadily rising.
Perhaps encouraged by this, Coolavia of Telek proposed a new trade resource: a fuel ore that burns with magic power.
I only overheard it in passing, but apparently, they want to explore deposits of this so-called “burnstone.”
It’s said to be sparsely but widely distributed across the land, and potentially minable if veins are exposed or near the surface.
We’ll first obtain a sample and conduct a thorough investigation.
There shouldn’t be any special ore reactions in the Telek region… but if it’s a magic-fantasy-type material, it might evade our scientific scans.
Interestingly, this “burnstone” is pronounced Tone-Mag locally.
Like “Tones of Flame” – Tone-Mag.
That solves the mystery of the paddle steamer’s power source.
Apparently, they use this burnstone to generate steam and drive pistons.
We’d abandoned analysis because the mechanism was unclear, but now we can resume proper research.
● Monster ✧ NоvеIight ✧ (Original source) Report
This world contains an entire biosphere of creatures referred to as “monsters.”
They don’t look much different from regular animals, but they possess strength and durability beyond scientific explanation.
Take
The hyena-like monsters we recently acquired demonstrated explosive power far exceeding what their muscle mass would suggest.
These inexplicable traits – this phenomenon we might call “magical enhancement” – define what is considered a monster in this world.
Furthermore, all monsters have a mysterious crystal near the heart.
Though shape, size, weight, and color vary, preliminary analysis of the hyena group suggests each species has similar-colored crystals.
We’re temporarily referring to them as magic stones.
We’ll continue gathering data to determine their proper name in this world.
In the United Kingdom of Aphracea, there’s a magical device called a Konro (magic stove).
It’s said the hyena’s magic stones are excellent as power sources for these stoves.
So excellent, in fact, that they’re quite expensive.
We’ll begin collecting and analyzing magic devices moving forward.
