Starting with 50 Spirit Stones and 2 Hours with My Senior Sister as Daoist Consort

Chapter 39 - Senior Sister’s Tease

“Junior Brother doesn’t seem thrilled to see me?”

Mo Xiangling waltzed into Li Chuan’s room like she owned it.

“Wasn’t like this yesterday—your eyes lit up when you saw me then.”

“Especially after I stripped—those eyes looked like they’d devour me whole.”

Her words dripped with provocation. She stood pertly before him, her stunning face inches from his.

Her breath wasn’t icy—warm, like his, brushing his face.

But Li Chuan stepped back, dead serious. “Senior Sister, business—let’s talk business.”

That ice-and-fire rollercoaster? He wasn’t riding it again.

Or rather, the ice was too damn cold, the fire too weak—couldn’t take it.

Mo Xiangling’s pretty eyes flicked with mischief, her soft red lips curling. She mused, then gasped, “Oh, I get it—Junior Brother’s like this ‘cause I’m dressed.”

“Just say it—you don’t like me clothed. I’ll strip, easy.”

And she actually reached to undo her robe.

As it slid open, Li Chuan didn’t cheer—he bellowed, “Stop!”

He glared, exasperated. “Senior Sister, broad daylight—how can you be so shameless? I’m blushing for you!”

“Oh, blushing, huh? Let me check.” Her robe hung loose as she cupped his face with pale, delicate hands.

“Nope, no blush—Junior Brother’s fibbing!” she concluded.

Her sultry pout was pure bait, but Li Chuan dodged her like she was poison. He knew she was screwing with him—pissed him off. “I said you’re shameless!”

All I did was trade for a bond—worth this much grudge? he griped inwardly.

Her teasing eyes widened, brimming with curiosity. “Shameless? What’s that—this?”

Her robe slipped off her shoulders.

Li Chuan flailed. “Senior Sister, I’m not up for it today—another time!”

“No biggie, Junior Brother—won’t take long.”

“Senior Sister, I’m wiped—can’t manage today…”

“No worries—I’ve got tricks.”

“Senior Sister, door’s open—I’ll close it!”

“Chill, Junior Brother—leave it. We’re not doing anything shady.”

“Senior Sister, I—”

“Junior Brother, hush—kiss me.”

Mo Xiangling loomed over Li Chuan, who huddled beside her, wrapped in thick blankets, frost clinging to his brows and hair, shivering hard.

She smirked, her expression pure taunt.

Li Chuan’s chattering teeth shot her a look—no words.

What could he say? Threats?

Wait ‘til tomorrow—I’ll get you?

Forget it—who’d get who was clear as day!

Now he was stuck—she’d latched on.

Mo Xiangling tossed a Qiankun Bag onto the table. “Ten thousand spirit stones, ten thousand contribution points.”

“Per your request—swapped ten thousand stones for one jumbo Qiankun Bag.”

Li Chuan’s face darkened. So she’d come to deliver stuff.

Deliver and go—why drag it out?

Infuriating as hell.

Bag dropped, she sauntered to the door.

Seeing her leave, Li Chuan exhaled—terrified she’d stick around.

But at the threshold, she spun back, beaming. “Junior Brother, step up your cultivation—I’ll be back tomorrow.”

Crash.

Li Chuan wobbled and hit the floor.

“Back… again…” Watching her soar off into the sun, he yelled, “Just freeze me solid already!”

Today’s chill hit harder than yesterday’s. Lucky his Blazing Sun Incineration Technique had barely kicked in—by night, he’d thawed the frost, back to normal.

But the yin and chill qi in him? Heavier than ever.

“Can’t live like this—gotta dodge for a bit.” The second he could move, he bolted, flying to Small World No. 43.

Inside, he didn’t hunt plants—just found a spot to cultivate.

He wasn’t short on stones or contribution—sect pills would last years. No need to grind cash now.

If that fire-attributed spirit land weren’t so far, it’d be perfect for his state.

Blink—another day gone.

Night fell, and he left Small World No. 43.

Time to track down that pre-Qi Refining junior sister.

She’d brushed him off back then—now he’d make her unreachable.

Li Chuan stewed, fierce, flying under moonlight to the pre-Qi Refining弟子区.

Yin-Yang Sect recruits were all decently gifted—once in, almost none failed to hit Qi Refining. Just a matter of time.

Even the crummiest spirit root grunts—plenty still stepped onto the cultivation path eventually.

With only a hundred or two newbies yearly, their zone hugged the sect’s biggest housing sprawl—the grunt district.

Not far from Li Chuan’s Qi Refining crew’s digs.

But before he got there, something felt off.

Sharp senses picked up a peeping vibe.

Staring was one thing—his standout look drew eyes everywhere, he was used to it.

Peeping? Different. At night? Who’d fixate on him?

He scanned—no target. Just scattered disciples passing by.

Then, a faint whoosh—like something rocketing his way—hit his ears.

His face shifted. He peered into the dark. Under moonlight, a breathtaking fairy flew on her sword, her belt’s dazzling gem glinting bright.

“Damn it—endless, huh?” Li Chuan snarled, pulling a Speed Talisman with a screw it, I’ll mess you up even if I’m half-dead look…
