Rabbit Goddess: REVAMPED

Revival [ORIGIN UNIVERSE]

I decided to change the name of the fic from Usagi no Megami to Rabbit Goddess for better understanding.

~~POV Kaguya~~

Weaving through the hand signs without fumbling was much harder than I ever anticipated, especially with the nails. However, as soon as I managed to weave through the hand signs somewhat moderately, I decided to attempt the Shadow Clone Jutsu, again. I was hoping the Jutsu would work this time or I would need to dig a hole to crawl into in shame.

After all, I was the progenitor of Chakra, if I couldn’t perform a simple Jutsu as the Shadow Clone Jutsu then I should better give up on the idea of reclaiming my Chakra from the world. If a talentless 12 year old child could perform this Jutsu within a few hours, then I should be able to perform it on my first attempt, right?

“Shadow Clone Jutsu!” I called out as I finished weaving through the hand signs. I felt two-thirds of my Chakra leave my body, but that was no issue.

*poof*

Two exact replicas of myself appeared beside me. I decided to inspect the clones and they possessed the same amount of Chakra I did at this moment. “I want the two of you to use the Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu” I ordered. While the Shadow Clone Jutsu was extremely useful in training, it was completely impractical to use it in a fight, considering the user’s Chakra would be evenly distributed among the clones.

And when a clone is dispersed, all of that Chakra would be lost. That was why it boggled my mind to think that someone would keep using this Jutsu in a fight and I felt ashamed that I was sealed again by someone as foolish as him. A wood clone would be much better for such purpose as a Wood Clone would not be dispersed in one hit. The clones nodded their heads and weaved through the hand signs.

“Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu!” The two clones called out at the same time as they finished weaving through the hand signs.

*poof* *poof*

My surroundings were engulfed in smoke and when the smoke finally cleared, I found thousands of my replicas surrounding us. “We are short of time and we have a lot to achieve” I called out and noticed that everyone was paying rapt attention to me. I was expecting some of my clones to act rebellious, but none of them did. Maybe, they knew that all of us were on a tight schedule.

“I want a thousand of you to start practising the Rasengan. I want another thousand of you to start practising any Fire Techniques from the memories, I want another thousand of you to start practising any Wind Techniques from the memories, and as for the remaining clones, I want you to start practising any Lightning Techniques from the memories” I ordered and the clones started to move into groups without a hint of protest.

With that taken care of, I decided to start practising Earth and Water techniques by myself. I possessed more Chakra than them, so I could afford to waste more Chakra than them. I knew the consequences of lazing around, which was more than any motivation I needed…

{An Indefinite Time Later}

I slowly opened my eyes as I collected the memories from the clones… I slowly opened one of my palms and a swirling ball of raw Chakra formed in my hand… A small smile formed on my face. It has been only a… I am not sure how many days it has been since I started training since it was hard to tell time in this place, but it must have been a couple of weeks, at least. I activated my Byakugan and noticed that most of my clones were still working tirelessly.

The Rasengan in my hand transformed into a Rasenshriken… I dispersed the Rasenshuriken before forming Rasengan in both of my hands. I decided to infuse one of the Rasengan with Water Chakra and the other with Earth Chakra. The Rasengan in my right hand turned into an orb of water filled with swirling whirlpools while the other one transformed into a mass of earth.

I decided to call the Water Nature Rasengan ‘Choseki Rasengan’ or ‘Tidal Rasengan’ and while ‘Uzumaki Rasengan’ would have been a more apt name for the technique, I refused to name it after one of the enemies. I named the Earth Nature Rasengan ‘Hokai Suru Rasengan’ or ‘Collapsing Rasengan’. I have managed to master everything I wanted to and more, except for the Wood Style Technique.

Wood Style is much more complicated than I thought. It wasn’t as simple as mixing Water Nature Chakra and Earth Nature Chakra. Mixing the two of them gave me the Mud Style, which was useful, but not as useful as Wood Style. It took me some time, but I managed to realize that to get Wood Style, I needed to mix Earth Nature Chakra and Water Nature Chakra along with Nature Chakra.

The Nature Chakra was the most important element in the Wood Style and even though I could use Nature Chakra, there was no nature Chakra present within the seal and I am not sure if I could even use Nature Chakra without my Rinne Sharingan…

I touched the slit on my forehead, feeling somewhat solemn and lacking. The absence of my Rinne Sharingan made me realize just how dependent I was on it. After escaping, I will have to invest some time in learning how to use Nature Chakra without my Rinne Sharingan. Nature Chakra could be extremely useful to me in the future.

Mastering Senjutsu was what allowed Naruto Uzumaki to beat Pein and Senjutsu was what allowed Hashirama Senju to trump over Madara Uchiha every single time. Maybe, I shouldn’t stop at Madara Uchiha… I should absorb all of their knowledge and if the memories of Janet should be trusted then the past Hokages are still going to be out there, completely unaffected by the effects of Infinite Tsukiyomi.

I should claim all of their knowledge before attacking Team 7…

Now, I simply needed to wait for my most loyal son to revive me again and in the meantime, I should continue working on the techniques I have learned. After all, there is still room for improvement…

{General POV, Shinobi World}

“Now! Become one!” Madara exclaimed as he finally managed to buy some time to reflect his Rinne Sharingan on the moon. The sky lit up like it was noon, blinding everyone momentarily all around the world. Soon, the pattern of Rinnegan started to appear in everyone’s eyes. Their expressions became completely blank and all of them were lost in some sort of trance-like state. Only Team 7 and the Reanimated Hokages were spared from such a fate.

“And now…” Madara muttered as he clapped his hands. “Divine… Deep Forest Emergence!” Madara exclaimed and massive tree roots started to sprout all over the battlefield. Ribbon-like structures started to spout out of the roots and engulf the Shinobis who were already trapped in the trance, but once again, Team 7 and the Reanimated Hokages were spared from such a fate.

“Naruto, don’t do it right now!” Sasuke Uchiha grabbed Naruto Uzumaki by his shoulder when Naruto was about to run off to save Hinata Hyuga, who was just entombed within the ribbon-like structures. After all, right now, Sasuke’s Susanoo was the only thing protecting them from the Genjutsu Madara had used to trap everyone. “Without this Susanoo, you would get bound up in his Genjutsu as well!” Sasuke explained hurriedly.

“We need to bide our time” Sasuke added and even though Naruto wasn’t happy, he ground his teeth and reluctantly agreed to leave Hinata and the others to their fate for the time being.

“Why am I not affected?” Tobirama Senju questioned, looking confused as he looked around.

“Let the world of dreams now begin… A world without abysmal Chakra!” Madara muttered under his breath as he finished casting the Infinite Tsukiyomi. Madara knew that a few rats were still lurking around, but he considered them inconsequential as he believed that his plan was beyond stopping right now. The Susanoo finally disappeared, revealing Team 7, who was completely unaffected by the Infinite Tsukiyomi.

“Sasuke!” Naruto called out. “What do we do to release everyone from the Genjutsu?!” Naruto asked with a hint of concern in his voice.

“Which I, the saviour of the world will do!” Before Sasuke could say anything, Madara answered Naruto as he landed in front of Team 7. Team 7 and the Reanimated Hokages were the last loose ends he needed to deal with.

“Be careful” Sasuke warned. “We are surrounded in all directions by four of his shadows” Sasuke explained to stop anyone from making any rash moves.

Meanwhile, Madara’s gaze focused on Naruto. “So, you are the one who has been inferring with everyone’s happiness?” Madara asked as he inspected the boy with critical eyes, hoping to find something interesting, but he wasn’t impressed. “I have finally corrected Hashirama’s mistake” Madara explained grandiosely.

“What do you mean by First Hokage’s mistake?” Sakura Haruno asked, speaking for the first time since Madara cast the Infinite Tsukiyomi.

“In the beginning, both Hashirama and I had the same goals. The two of us created the first shinobi village and the shinobi world moved forward, following our example, forming their own villages” Madara explained. “We hoped for the wars to stop, but the shinobi did not stop fighting. Instead of ceasing the wars, it only intensified and we had the First Great Shinobi War” Madara explained in clear distaste.

“The fighting never stopped!” Madara snapped while gritting his teeth.

“Hashirama failed… Our vision failed” Madara finished in a low tone, but a small smile bloomed on his face as he looked around. “Right now, everyone is inside the divine tree. Each of them dreaming their own idyllic dreams. I just wanted to be the saviour that ends the long history of fighting amongst the Shinobi” Madara proclaimed proudly, revelling in the fact that he had won.

“It is over!” Madara declared proudly, but moments later, a black hand burst out of his chest, surprising Madara and everyone around him.

“You are wrong, Madara” Black Zetsu, who was possessing Obito Uchiha, hissed from behind him. Madara tried to turn himself, but he could barely turn his head. He realized that he couldn't move.

“Black Zetsu… What are you saying?” Madara growled out with some difficulties.

“My will is Kaguya’s will” Black Zetsu revealed with a wicked grin marring his face.

“Huh? Kaguya?” Naruto couldn’t help but ask at the mention of the name they heard from the Sage of Six Paths.

“What is that?” Sakura asked, looking at Naruto and Sasuke in confusion.

“The one the Sage of Six Paths mentioned” Sasuke answered.

“No way…” Naruto mumbled in clear disbelief.

Then all of a sudden, the entombed Shinobi started to tremble as a huge amount of Chakra started to surge from all around them. Madara screamed as black cracks, originating from his chest started to form all over his body.

“The Chakra is ridiculous!” Naruto exclaimed in panic and horror.

“All of Madara’s shadows surrounding us have also disappeared!” Sasuke announced loudly, but then the ground burst open, flinging the members of Team 7. Huge amounts of raw Chakra burst out of the ground and started to enter Madara’s body.

“Is he absorbing all the Chakra that is erupting from the ground?” Kakashi asked even though the sight in front of them was kind of obvious.

Madara continued to scream as the raw Chakra continued to enter his body. His body started to swell as Black Zetsu continued to force the raw Chakra inside the man’s body.

“This is really bad, Sasuke!” Naruto announced loudly.

“Let’s go, Naruto!” Sasuke exclaimed preparing a Chidori blade in his hands as he wanted to use this opportunity to attack Madara and Black Zetsu so that they could prevent them from doing whatever they were intending to do.

“You mean while they are still swelling up, right?” Naruto asked as he got ready to attack, turning one of the truth-seeking orbs into a staff. However, before they could get close to Madara of Black Zetsu, Madara’s hair started to move on its own and grabbed both Naruto and Sasuke stopping the duo in their tracks.

“Like two moths flying into flame…” Black Zetsu hissed in glee as he was already expecting the duo to try something like that. “However, don’t worry. I am not going to kill you. After all, Mother would need her soldiers” Black Zetsu revealed in glee.

“What do you mean?” Sasuke asked, looking somewhat confused and disturbed at the same time.

“All of them will be turned into White Zetsu after they lose their wills” Black Zetsu explained, taking joy at their horrified expressions.

“The Infinite Tsukiyomi is a Uchiha Jutsu” Madara muttered in protest. He still couldn’t believe what was happening.

“My dead Madara…” Black Zetsu giggled. “I have been around for eons longer than you. The Infinite Tsukiyomi is not a Jutsu that confers peaceful dreams. You merely acted for my purpose. You too were merely a pawn” Black Zetsu explained gleefully as black started to cover Madara all over his body. Just after that, Madara started to swell even more as raw Chakra entering his body intensified.

“Hey! Look at how big he swelled up!” Naruto announced, looking astonished.

“How did this happen…” Madara muttered under his breath just before the black tar completely surrounded him, but then all of a sudden he felt something tug at his Soul. He wasn’t simply dying, but something was trying to engulf his very being. Madara realized that this was the end for him. ‘Hashirama… Where did I go… wrong?’ Madara asked himself before his Soul was finally erased.

Obito Uchiha was finally released from the control of Black Zetsu and the swelled mass finally started to shrink, finally taking the form of a beautiful woman… The woman was extremely pale just like how Madara was after he became the Jinchuriki of the Juubi. Her extremely long grey hair was flowing behind her back menacingly and when the woman finally opened her cold eyes, the members of Team 7 felt cold chills run down their spines…
