Not a Grimoire

Dear diary,

The volcano erupted.

Luckily my demons are unharmed and nobody died. But the village at the foot of the volcano is no more. I'm sad for all the villagers who lost their homes and livelihoods. But this is actually a good thing for me and that makes me feel even more guilty.

I didn't set off the volcano... Or I may have. I killed the dragon after all. Oh no.

I'm doing my best to help the villagers relocate and donating money so they can set up a new village somewhere else. At least no one died and the church is helping with the relocation.

I mean they did this, not me. They're the ones that wanted the dragon dead. I just did my job.
