Naruto: Wooing Tsunade from Day One!

Chapter 190: Chapter 190: Konan and Yahiko

As the saying goes, absence makes the heart grow fonder. The next day, Kawakaze and Tsunade woke up at noon. The previous night had been another sleepless one.

"Good morning!" Kawakaze said, pinching his palm while propping his head up with his other hand. His eyes were filled with affection as he looked at Tsunade beside him.

"Good morning your ass," Tsunade retorted, glaring at him and swatting his hand away. "I already said no, no, no, but you insisted on coming."

She sat up, the bedding sliding off her body as she stretched, revealing her perfect upper body. Kawakaze's gaze was immediately captured, his eyes glued to her.

He licked his lips. "Let's exercise a little longer this morning."

"Exercise your head. Get up," Tsunade snapped, deftly dodging Kawakaze's mischievous hand as she picked up her clothes from the floor and began putting them on.

"Okay," Kawakaze replied, reluctantly shifting his gaze. As the alluring sight was gradually concealed, a faint hint of disappointment crossed his face. Slowly, he began to get dressed as well.

Tsunade noticed his dejected expression and couldn't help but smile slightly. Approaching him, she gave him a gentle kiss on the cheek.

"Be good. I'll play with you again tonight," she said softly.

Kawakaze immediately perked up, as though a surge of energy had washed over him. "Then it's settled," he said enthusiastically, quickly speeding up the pace of getting dressed.

In the blink of an eye, Kawakaze was fully dressed and standing next to Tsunade.

"This is as far as you'll get in life," Tsunade said mockingly, extending her pinky finger and making a small gesture.

The two of them exchanged smiles, their world quiet and peaceful for a moment.

After leaving the house, they washed up and headed to the dining room.

"Brat, you should be careful," Sakumo said, seated at the head of the table. He gave Kawakaze a pointed glance, his tone carrying a mix of teasing and warning. Ever since Nayuki had the baby, Sakumo had felt a bit overwhelmed.

The three tried to stifle their laughter, though Konan remained oblivious, not understanding what they found so amusing.

"Don't you worry, I'm in tip-top shape," Kawakaze replied confidently, taking his seat with a swagger. He showed no embarrassment, but Tsunade's cheeks reddened slightly.

Nayuki shot Sakumo a glare. This guy has no filter. She thought back to when they were newlyweds—Sakumo wasn't much better than Kawakaze back then.

"I was only being kind," Sakumo mumbled, trying to explain himself under Nayuki's disapproving gaze.

"Uncle~" Kakashi called out from Nayuki's arms, reaching for Kawakaze and asking for a hug.

"Good boy, Uncle will hug you," Kawakaze said warmly, his face lighting up as he walked over to scoop Kakashi up.

"Don't give him anything hard to eat," Nayuki warned with a worried tone. She knew Kawakaze was too indulgent and would feed Kakashi just about anything if the boy wanted it.

"I know, sister-in-law," Kawakaze replied with a grin before offering Kakashi a spoonful of egg pudding.

"Go eat your own food! Stop hugging my son every day," Sakumo grumbled, his voice tinged with jealousy.

"I'm happy. What's it to you?" Kawakaze retorted, his tone defiant.

The atmosphere grew tense, and it seemed like the two brothers were on the verge of arguing again.

"Shut up! Eat!" Nayuki and Tsunade commanded in unison.

"Okay," the two men muttered, glaring at each other before finally backing down.

"Haha..." The four kids couldn't hold back their laughter.

"Eat your food properly. You kids know how to watch a show at such a young age," Kawakaze scolded them, feeling slightly embarrassed.

"Got it, Sensei," the four replied obediently. They truly enjoyed the warmth of the family atmosphere.

During the rest of the meal, neither Sakumo nor Kawakaze spoke again. Only Nayuki and Tsunade carried on a light conversation about their daily lives.

After the meal, everyone began to go their separate ways. Sakumo left to meet his friends, and Nayuki headed to Shinku Yūhi's house with Kakashi in her arms. Minato greeted everyone before departing for the Senju house, leaving the three kids behind.

"Nagato, are you going to the hospital with me?" Tsunade said, ruffling Nagato's red hair. His shyness was evident, a far cry from the cold and ruthless figure he would later become.

"Okay," Nagato replied, his red bangs swaying as he nodded.

"I'll take Nagato with me. You stay home and teach your disciples," Tsunade instructed Kawakaze, determined to keep him from causing chaos in the lab again.

"Go, go," Kawakaze said with a dismissive wave. He wrapped an arm around Yahiko and Konan's shoulders, and the three headed toward the dojo.

"Sensei, I heard that you went to Kumogakure this time," Yahiko said boldly, his curiosity getting the better of him.

"Mm," Kawakaze replied with a single word, looking at Yahiko to see if he had more to ask.

"Did you fight the Raikage? Was he good?" Yahiko's eyes lit up with excitement. He had heard tales of the Raikage's strength and was eager to know who was more powerful— the Third Raikage or his Sensei.

"It must be Sensei who is powerful," Konan said with a smile, her words flattering as she stood by his side. She was noticeably more cheerful than in the original story.

"Haha, you little flatterer," Kawakaze said, slapping Konan on the head.

"Ouch!" Konan cried out, pretending to rub her head in pain.

"Don't pretend. Sensei didn't even use any strength," Yahiko said bluntly, exposing Konan's exaggerated reaction.

"Hmph," Konan huffed, shooting Yahiko an unhappy look, her lips forming a small pout.

"About the fight, it can be considered a draw," Kawakaze interjected, ignoring their small squabble. His tone was matter-of-fact, as it was true neither he nor Raikage had managed to claim victory.

"Then in the future, I will personally defeat him," Yahiko declared, his chest puffed out with enthusiasm. Konan's eyes sparkled, clearly impressed.

"Not a bad ambition," Kawakaze said with a smile, choosing to encourage rather than discourage Yahiko. Though he knew Yahiko might never match the Third Raikage's power, the boy's determination was admirable.

"Yahiko, I believe in you," Konan chimed in, her earlier irritation already forgotten.

"I'll work hard," Yahiko replied, his resolve visibly strengthening.

Of the three, Yahiko's talent seemed to lag slightly behind. Konan's abilities were already on par with his, and Nagato—with his exceptional potential—was practically untouchable. Minato, of course, was in a league of his own.

"There's still plenty of time. Just keep working hard," Kawakaze said encouragingly. Though Yahiko's raw strength might be lacking, his personality, sense of responsibility, and leadership qualities were undeniable. He had the makings of a great leader.

"I understand, Sensei," Yahiko replied seriously, his determination evident. He was resolute not to let his Sensei down—anything less would bring shame to Kawakaze's name in the future.

"All right, today I'll give you a practical lesson," Kawakaze announced. He had been unsure what to teach the two, but an idea had just struck him.

With a swift Flying Thunder God Technique, he transported Yahiko and Konan to an unfamiliar training field.

"You want the two of us to fight you?" Yahiko asked, pointing at himself, Konan, and then Kawakaze. His eyes were filled with disbelief. How could Sensei come up with such a ridiculous idea?

"Well, is there a problem?" Kawakaze asked in return, his tone calm and unbothered.

"No, no problem," Yahiko stammered, though his mind was already filled with images of being thoroughly beaten. Getting beaten up is one thing—but Konan is still so young!

"Sensei, please go easy on him," Konan said, putting on a pitiful expression as she pleaded. She knew there was no avoiding it, so she tried to soften the blow.

"Don't cry later," Kawakaze said, playfully giving Konan's nose a little rub. She really is adorable!
