Glory To Slytherin

Chapter 164

Chapter 163 The Depressed Harry

Time gradually came to the end of October.

In the responsive room, the laboratory seemed scribbled, a large number of discarded experimental utensils were randomly thrown aside, and the ground was splashed with green blood that had not dried up.

Ulysses’ eyes were reddish, and he stared at a small eight-eyed giant spider in front of him. He took out a needle filled with green liquid and injected it into the young spider.

The eight energetic legs of the young spider kept jumping on the table, but they were unable to move because they were pressed by Ulysses’ fingers. As the liquid was injected, its legs jumped more happily.

A gleam of joy appeared in Ulysses’ eyes, but soon the joy disappeared.

After a while, the young spider was full of vitality, suddenly his whole body stiffened, eight legs weakened weakly, and he was paralyzed on the table without moving.

Ulysses sighed, and a thick notebook beside it automatically recorded:

In the 258th experiment, the fusion of the blood of the basilisk and the eight-eyed giant spider may have failed.

Ulysses rubbed his eyebrows wearily, ready to go out to breathe.

From getting the young spider back to now, except for classes, they have almost been soaked in the responsive room.

When the eight-eyed giant spider was listed as the first research object, Ulysses immediately thought of its natural enemy, the Basilisk. It just so happens that he has a large amount of basilisk blood and body materials in his hands. Whether the eight-eyed giant spider can possess the basilisk ability has become a topic of great interest to Ulysses.

However, this kind of research is obviously not an overnight task. Ulysses squandered most of the cub of the eight-eyed giant spider to figure out some direction.

‘Go for a walk. ’

Ulysses thought to himself, leaving the responsive room and returning to the Slytherin common room.

Today is Friday, and there are more people in the lounge. At this moment they were discussing something buzzingly, and they looked very excited.

“What happened?”

Ulysses walked behind Millie in silence, patted her on the shoulder, and asked with a smile.

Millie shrank her shoulders and was obviously taken aback. After looking back at Ulysses, she breathed a sigh of relief, pointed to the bulletin board, and said casually:

“The first Hogsmeade weekend, tomorrow… Hell, did you just come out of the refugee den?”

Millie suddenly looked surprised and looked at Ulysses in disbelief. In her impression, Ulysses has always looked clean and unhurried, but now his clothes are messy and his face is haggard, which is very different from his usual.

“You don’t understand the life of a researcher.”

Ulysses waved his hand, “But I really should go back and take a shower.”

After he changed into a neat wizard robe and came to the common room, several people sat on a sofa, Daphne was saying respectfully:

“I have never seen such a magical professor… She is the embodiment of truth, and she has made a lot of predictions…”

“Yes?”

Draco curled his lips in disdain. In his opinion, the professor of divination was an inexperienced bastard, and he was the same as last year’s Professor Lockhart.

“certainly.”

Daphne heard Draco’s contempt for Professor Trelawney, and said dissatisfied, “My pet Mary suddenly disappeared in the last class, but in the divination class, she turned the spoon casually and told me that it was there. The direction…I will find it later.”

“She also said Granger will leave us forever…On this basis, she is a good professor.”

Pansy went on to say, “I have never hoped that a person’s prophecy will work like I do now…”

“This is unnecessary, right? They are all classmates anyhow, why are you so hostile?”

Ulysses said with a smile, sitting next to Draco.

Pansy snorted and said nothing.

“Ulysses, where have you been this half a month? You can’t find it if you want to find it.”

Draco’s eyes lit up, and he raised his wrist braggingly. “It hasn’t happened once in so many days.”

It was actually because he was busy with Quidditch training recently and had no time to trouble Harry and the others.

“make persistent efforts.”

Ulysses nodded. “Are you all going to Hogsmeade tomorrow?”

“Of course. I haven’t been there for a year, I still miss it a bit.”

Millie said strangely, “Why, aren’t you going?”

“decide as things go.”

Ulysses said lightly, and in his opinion Hogsmeade was really meaningless.

Unlike the heated discussions in the Slytherin common room about the excitement of Hogsmeade, the person at one of the desks in the Transformation Classroom was frowning.

Harry thought about the time for a class, but still didn’t make up his mind.

“Go ask.”

Ron urged Harry in a low voice.

“Oh, but—”

Hermione obviously disagrees.

“Go, Harry.”

Ron said stubbornly.

When everyone else in the classroom was gone, Harry slowly moved to Professor McGonagall.

“Well, Mr. Potter?”

Harry took a deep breath and said nervously:

“Professor, my uncle and aunt…well…forgot to sign my application form.”

Professor McGonagall put his gaze on him through the glasses and said nothing.

“So…I…well, do you think it will work…I mean, can you…if I go to Hogsmeade Village…”

Professor McGonagall retracted his gaze and flipped through the paper on the table.

“I’m afraid not, Mr. Potter.” She said, “You should have heard clearly what I said just now. Don’t go if you don’t hand in the form. This is a rule.”

“But professor, you know… my uncle and aunt… they are all Muggles! They don’t really understand… Hogwarts teaching and activities.”

Harry tried to think about appropriate vocabulary, “If you can agree on the web…”

Ron nodded vigorously to encourage him.

“But I won’t do that, Mr. Potter.”

As Professor McGonagall said, stood up and put the sorted information in the drawer, “It is clearly stated on the application form that the consent of the parent or guardian must be obtained.”

She turned around and looked at Harry, her eyes a little weird, “I’m sorry, Mr. Potter, but this is my final decision. You’d better go quickly, otherwise you won’t be able to make lunch.”

This is obviously irreparable.

Ron scolded Professor McGonagall a lot of ugly words in private, and was stared at her dissatisfiedly and indifferently. This made Hermione very annoyed, deliberately showing a “finally finished” expression on her face, making Harry and Ron even more depressed.

And the students in the lounge were happily discussing, when they went to Hogsmeade, what to do first and where to go…

Harry sounded as uncomfortable as if he had lost ten thousand gallons.

“There will always be a feast,” Ron wanted to cheer Harry, patted Harry on the shoulder and said, “You know, the dinner on Halloween is always great…”

“Yes.”

Harry said quietly, “That must be great.”
